Hello Everyone!
My sister's husband's case was on Administrative Processing in India,Chennai. They gave him a time frame of about 12 weeks. Now when I enquired, the Consulate is asking him to appear at the consulate office with the passport. What do you think? Is it going to be a good news? 'cuz usually they mail the visa. They called him to the embassy. I am worried. Anybody has any experience please share. Thanks.

From what I heard it may be a good news but I would wait for an inpute of others who got that far after the completion of thir AR. I am still waiting on my fiance's AR to get going but I heard that when they call the beneficiary back to the embassy with a passport it means that they would issue the visa...I hope that would be the case...GOOD LUCK

He should go with his passport and it looks like they will issue the visa or take the passport and send it to him once they add the visa stamp. Good luck.
