u might be able to if you can demostrate the need as an emergency. Otherwise you will have to file as normal.

and a lack of your prior planning does not constitute an emergency...

I was given AP at an InfoPass appointment because my Mom was in the hospital and I needed to arrange a nursing home for her (I had POA for my Mom at the time). I took a fax copy of a letter from my Mom's doctor, giving her prognosis and the reason why I was needed to return to Canada. They issued the AP documents that day and I was able to travel the next day.

You would have to have an emergency in order to be granted AP at an InfoPass appointment, with proof of the emergency.
