There is a difference between having your SO with you and not having your SO with you. I can definitely relate to the latter.

I think probably over 90% of people here have experienced being apart from their SO and just about everyone has experienced waiting for them to come and being without them here. I experienced waiting for my SO ... that's why almost everyone is here.

Something seems to change in some folks after they're SO comes. They forget what it was like to be apart for so long.

I highly doubt that anyone forgets what it was like to be apart. I know I'll never forget it. I think about it often.
