Why do you think it's such a bloody awful place? I've lived here for 3 years now, and I like it. And if I can get to Raleigh in about 3 hours... I think I can get to a beach in less then 9 :-D Hell, it only takes me about 9 hours to drive up to NJ.

sorry, I just can't think of anything at all that I liked in Lenoir. Its boring, I got yelled at in the park for my dog walking on the grass, its boring, there's nothing to do, its boring...um...hmmm...

Morganton is not much better tongue.gif

Too each his own I guess... I seem to keep myself and my kids entertained enough. Granted I don't do much right IN Lenior... but I still find stuff to do. Of course, I'm not big on the heavy drinking/bar scene... which you can't find in Lenoir... so that probably helps.

Hey Len,

My son's school band will be heading up your way next week (Lenoir) for the Contest Festival. I'll be taking the day off work to give them moral support. First time their school is sending a 7th grade band to participate in the contest and they're a bit nervous about it all. (You're going to lose the "quiet" for a while)

Off-Topic2.gif Not Canadian but we're in Winston-Salem, NC and about 5 hours from the coast.
