Hello....just a quick question about Medical Examinations. I have received packet 3 for my K1 Fiance visa and I called to make an appointment for my medical examination, but the doctors office said that I could not make an appointment until I received an interview letter. Is this true?? The checklist said that I have to send back from packet 3 says "arrange a medical examination" and this is confusing me too...lol. Do I check that box and send it in? I tried to contact the consular office about this and I had no response. If anyone could let me know that would be great! blink.gif

We had to have an appointment set before Jomo could make his appointment.

I believe you have to have an interview date set before you can schedule the med exam (thats what the Ukraine Consulate tells me) but you really should try to get an answer from your respective consulate on that matter. It might be because she needs to bring the letter with her to the exam that they don't want to schedule anything before its in hand.

We set ours before we had an interview date. I knew when the case was sent to the consulate and a doctor he could use, so i had him schedule the appt in case it was hard to get in to the MD. He just needs the letter with him at the appt.
