My fionce submitted her packet 3 to the mumbai embassy on feb 19th, it was entereted into there system on march 13th, we still have not recieved a interview date, WHAT IS GOING ON .. SOMEONE PLEASE ADVICE

I'm going through a CR1 through mumbai. My case was received in mumbai on or around March 3rd. I still have not heard on my interview date. Don't worry. You should hear sometime in april with an interview date for sometime in may

relax it takes some time. I think it took about 2 months for my interview date to come up. I was applying for a K-1 in Delhi.

That's because THERE IS NO SET ANSWER. You use others' experience & timelines to guesstimate.

You should receive packet 4 with interview date before April 13th. Good luck!

How do you know that? Do you work at the consulate?

Just trying to be reassuring here. Also my research shows cases from Chennai have received Packet 4 no later than 7 weeks after submitting Packet 3. Since Packet 3 was sent in on February 19th, they should receive an answer by April 9th. I made my estimate to the end of the week for good measure.

It's not a negative attitude. You had many poeple reply to your initial post - which you IGNORED & reposted the same question. The answer remians the same.

ELW may say that, but he has absolutely no proof that it will happen by then. He is saying it to make you feel better, yet it;s not true!!!

I was trying to correct misiniformation on VJ. But if you'd rather had bad information, go ahead & believe it.

I hope you get an interview date soon. I was told that every case is different and should not be compared to anyone elses. I waited 4 months for an interview date, others are much sooner, some later.
