Hi you all,

I recall one of STL_HCMC's past posts, saying single status certificate is not required. We are both single, never married, young, and compatible in age, with no children. But what if I really want to have it just in case. Where do I obtain one in the US? Where does my fiancee get one? She lives in HCMC.

I'm preparing to send my fiancee a package. I have not gathered all these, but here's what I have in mind:

1. A statement from me reaffirming my continued support of the K1 application and my willingness and legal ability to marry her within 90 days.

2. I-134 notarized.

3. Employment letter, showing my annual income (just barely enough for 2 people), my start date.

4. Letters from 2 different banks where I have my checking accounts - showing my current balance, amount deposited in the past year, average balance.

5. Tax transcripts from 2004 (sufficient income), 2005 (insufficient income, in school), 2006 (sufficient income). Reproduced printouts of my tax returns these 3 years from my computer (I used tax software to file my own tax).

6. W2's. I have all W2's for 2006. I don't know about 2005 and 2004. I may have misplaced them. Is this required?

7. A copy of my bachelor's degree received in 2005. Some pictures at my graduation.

8. An enrollment certificate, showing I'm currently pursuing a master's degree.

9. More chat transcripts, call logs, hand-written letters, emails, new boarding passes.

10., 11.,... what am I missing?

Just to make sure: all these papers I listed are for the interview, right? For returning packet 3 to the consulate, she only needs to fill out DS-230 part 1 and DS-2001; no other things required, right? She has not received her packet 3, but it should be anytime now. I learned about packet 3 contents from previous member posts.

Thank you all.

You filed your I-129F? You have received your NOA2? Good, now you are preparing for her interview, aren't you?

Here is what I see:

- No, you do not need Single Status Certificate for neither you and her. It is required if you are K-3 petitioner for spousal visa.
- W-2: yes, they may ask for them. Call the IRS and obtain the transcript of your tax return for the last 3 years. It seems that HCMC no longer accepts TurboTax print-out. They want the real ITR from the IRS.
