Hi guys , i just recieved my ead , me and my hubby went to local ssn here in colorado, the guy there told us that it takes 30-60 days for me to recieved my card coz they will check my records in the office who gave me those docu/ID's i showed to them. Is this normal?

Good luck on your immigration journey. In answer to your question, yes, it's normal for the SS# office to take 30-60 days for an SS#. In fact, from my experience here in NYS they quoted as long as four weeks after I got my Green Card, although it personally took me eight weeks after I got my Green Card, as they had to verify my immigration status and other documents. Needless to say, I did get my SS# card after all that eight weeks waiting. Don't give up, just keep on being patient and waiting...

They need to verify with USCIS your immigration status, but I believe that they have a new online system that speeds things up. It took them from February 27th to March 8th to verify my status (and another 2 weeks to actually have the card in hand, due to social security technical issues with their printing equipment) so it was a lot less than the 4 weeks they quoted.
