Not sure - I think the post milestone for that is larger. Someone else might know the actual number.

That's the downside of having a post count reward system. There's limited features until you 'earn' Platinum status and even a meter to measure a members 'value'. A simple join date and post count would be fine and probably cut down on post whoring.
Rob and Melinda
Mar 23 2007, 11:12 AM
You know, I have noticed that a few people here are very quick to decide or insinuate that someones post are "whoring". Why are other people's efforts whoring but some of your efforts more worthy?
The same people that condemn other people's faith and love for God when they express it here on VJ are the very same ones that are mean spirited and nasty in their comments.
You who look so closely at other people's faults dont forget about your own... Seems like you need a Savior just as bad as me

@Rob&Melinda: if you resurrect every poll posted since the inception of the new VJ site, and do so in the span of about two days, people are going to suspect you're into a bit of post whoring.

What gives you the right to decide what is "off topic?" There are alot of posts that are great subjects that I have just now seen that I have responded to. That brings them up to the current subject window and many others respond also.
If these old subjects should not be responded to or brought up again, then why are they still listed here on this forum?
Sorry but I think some of you have mis judged why people make resposes and post here.
I simply took a look at my controls section and noticed that I had over 600 posts and began to wonder what the levels actually were.

What LS is saying is that any posts that you make in the Off Topic section of VJ should not be counted under your post total, not that he is deciding what is Off Topic.

Trust me it takes a lot more than that to ruffle my feathers
But that was a seriuos question, I really am confused why someone would question someone about saying congratulations to everyone. I would understand if it was something rude or offensive, but I mean good grief. Why not share in someone's happiness, no matter if I know them or not. This whole process can be frustrating, grueling and stressful. So if somone's happy or wants to celebrate for any reason...

. Even if I don't know them...

I agree I love sharing in everyone elses happiness it gives me hope and also makes me happier if only for a few minutes. Its a long hard grueling but worthwhile definately worthwhile process and everyone should have the laughter joy happiness and smiles for all the blood sweat and tears shed..who knows you may find a great friend in the process.
