Hi all. My husband's interview with the US Embassy in Manila is coming up but he needs to get a police clearance in china since he stayed there for more than 6 months. Can anybody recommend/refer an office providing this kind of service, i.e., securing a clearance in china on behalf of my husband. I'm desperate, time is runing out

Hello! Try to call the chinese embassy here in the Philippines- #Tel: 8443148, 8437715, ask them how to get police clearance from their country.. I suggest that you call them ASAP, because in other country, like Korea, it takes 5 weeks to process your requested police clearance. In case you don't have the police clearance by the time of the interview, it's ok, they will just ask you to go back to the embassy as long as you have the document. Then after that, you'll have to wait for a week before the embassy release your visa. God bless!

Yeah, like someone already mentioned.....*at least here in the UK* it says in the packets that you do not need a police check for anywhere that you did not stay for at least 12 months...not six. So, unless you know otherwise, you shouldn't need the police check from China at all.
