Tracy, that's great news. I'm sure Chas didn't mind the middle of the night call??? At this point, I feel that a member of USCIS should leave work and personally fly your petition to NVC!!! On the bright side....perhaps this works to your advantage.....when you apply for Chas' AOS....show them the "typical timelines".....and then yours by comparision. That ought to be very convincing "proof" that your relationship is genuine! No one would put themselves through the shoes that you've walked in......without "really" loving their SO!!!! Just my two pence!

chelseafan - no kidding! That is exactly how it feels. But I'm sure there are still some 'stragglers' out there who filed before me and still aren't through, either (JimnGemz comes to mind!), so in that sense, I'm not feeling so hard done by.

My fiance and I have been together for 3 years now, so in comparison, this bit seems like nothing!

Yeah, he got his police certificate and passport renewed while we waited. He's going to try and see his GP next week to get documentation on his vaccinations. I'll start working on the employer and bank letters.

I'm going over on Apr 15 to see him for two weeks - I'd like to be able to take him all the documents he'll need from me for the interview. If it ends up taking a bit longer to get the interview, I'll resend the I 134 and letter of intent via Fed Ex to be more current.

TracyTN - Its so good to finally have ya back on board! Can't ya tell that we all missed you!!!!

I'm thinking that I will call the NVC a week from today and see if its been there and gone, or what the deal is. Thought that'd be enough time for them to get it, give it the new case number and send it on its way - but we'll have to see.

My dear sweet Chas - sigh. When I called, he was asleep - he looked at caller ID and it said number withheld - so he thought I was a telemarketer and ignored me! He eventually got up and checked his emails, whereby he saw the approval email that I had forwarded to him. Then he called me. We had brewskis last night as we sat and talked.

Thats so funny htat he ignored you! Silly man. I bet he was so excited about it!

Yeah, he was excited. He said that he didn't know many people to call and tell about it - but he called everyone he could think of, including an expat friend of his who now lives in Texas.

Personally, I feel like a great weight has been lifted. I have had a numb left hand and left foot for the past month and a half solid (thanks to a pinched nerve bundle in my neck). Mirculously yesterday - nada.

Edited when I saw Amanda's post to say -- heck yeah!!!!!!!! I'll be calling my Preds ticket rep when I get back from London to add another ticket to my account for next season.

I was all excited but then nervous too about my NOA2.

My step brother lives down in Texas and when anything happens with the immigration process I call him cause I know he'll understand!
