NOA2 !!!!!! It's approved!!! IT'S APPROVED!!!!
Well everyone, it seems my petition was approved last Thursday 5/10. For whatever reason, I never received an email. I arrived home this evening and there was the USCIS envelope facing me. I hoped it wasn't an RFE and it wasn't.
I'm bewildered because I checked the USCIS site constantly and the message is always the same...Case received and pending. I got touched on 5/11 and again on 5/15. I'm assuming that's when it was sent to NVC.
Where and how do we find out it was sent to NVC and the consulate?

I'm a March filer from VSC - just wanted to pop in a see how everyone else is coming along - my interview is scheduled for June 11th, I'M STOKED!

17 days since my RFE was received......praying for a NOA2 any day now..
Question, my RFE was for IMBRA, the one asking did you meet with paid service (I answered No), and asked to check any criminal covictions I had (i didn't check any, put a none beside the question). Then at the end it said with my signature i consent them to doing a criminal background check....if they are doing this anyone know how long they take??

Finally got our NOA2. I was teary eyed when I saw the email from CRIS. I didnt expect to receive it this week as we thought it will be out by June. Indeed GOD IS GOOD. He finally answered our prayers.

That RFE sounds like it was because you filed with an outdated version of the I-129F. It was changed earlier this year to ask those questions. Hope that you get a speedy NOA2!

That's the crazy thing, i'm 100% sure I used the newest version, expires 2010!!!

You know this got me thinking. I should have never got a RFE in the first place, it was obviously a mistake, I have a copy of the original form I sent in and it was the newest form and I did answer the IMBRA question. I guess it wouldn't do any good to call USCIS and tell them to make note that I shouldn't have got a RFE in the first place?
