My stomach is in knots - he's been in the embassy for almost two hours now...

Still nothing... I REALLY can't believe how nervous I am. I keep thinking, "What's gone wrong? Why is it taking so long?" And I know that it's really NOT taking so long, it just SEEMS like it's forever!!

its not taking long really...he would have had to be there at 8 am with everybody else...and wait .. a LOT! I was at my embassy for an hour and a half and my " interview" consisted of three, 5 min conversations over that time. Relax!

dont worry i got my interview in paris the 15 march it was very long waiting we were the last family and we left around 04.00 pm
and i got my visa today by mail

Has your fiance been sleeping in the embassy the last two days? He was out at 4:00, and he called me at 4:01 to let me know - he was approved! He'll have his visa in 7-10 days! Wahoo!
One thing I didn't mention in the review is that the envelope he brought was the wrong size. He was told to bring the correct size, he read the reviews here that told him the correct size, but when he went to the post office, the woman told him, "No, that is not correct - I sell these all the time for the embassy... THIS is the correct size." And it wasn't. That's why he had to go running back to the post office for the correct size.
