Ok - so by now all of u guys must realize I'm always worrying! I noticed that the 'similar timelines' to me, most people receive packet 3 at the most around 5 days after the London embassy receive the petition from NVC. I called the crazy expensive 0904 number today and they said they had no record of my petition arriving at the embassy! Is that standard? Do they send packet 3 out before they enter them on the system? I've read so many horror stories about peoples petition going missing and it taking mnths to get on track again, I worry tooooo much! lol x

Did you track it? It was only received last week, they take weeks to send back P4.

Stop tormenting yourself. This a stressful situation as it is, you are fretting about other peoples' timelines when they are just that...timelines. It isn't a "written in stone" type of thing. Everyone's case is a little different, hence they all take a slightly different amount of time.

You are well within guidelines for the sending out of packet 3. Just calm down, okay?

Calm down, it all takes it time.

Mags is right, timelines don't mean anything really.

It will get there - who knows it might be there already and they just haven't gotten to it.

Good luck smile.gif

Amen.

Further, the pay-to-play phone line is in Scotland. Of course they have no record of your case (not that you would know that.. those phone lines are a rip off)
(rip off seems to be my thing lately. I think that's the third time in a wekk that I've said that...)

As far as I recall, it can take a month to get 'on the system' and then it will all go very quickly.

They will not record it when received ... it takes several days to a week ... ours received on Feb. 16 but when we phoned on Feb. 20 there was no record of it (through Embassy switchboard ... NVC told me to phone that number since an address change was not done by USCIS ... I managed to talk to a real person who processes Packet 3s for mailing) ... but it was processed on the Feb. 21 ... then a Packet 3 letter was date Feb. 23 but not mailed until Feb. 26 ... finally received by my husband on Feb. 27 ... London Embassy is not going to win points for efficient processing ... also when looking at timelines remember that nothing gets processed on weekends and holidays so someone who has their package from NVC received by the Embassy on a Monday might end up receiving Packet 3 in a fewer number of days than a Packet received late in the week.

Have you looked at some of the timelines or read anecdotal experiences for other consulates?

blush.gif Yes - I know I'm just a big worrier!!! But this whole process does bring out the worrier in the most positive and calm people!!! smile.gif
*julez*
IMO, you've nothing to feel embarrassed about. This is nervewracking! I know I'll want constant assurance that everything is going according to plan when I finally file! (Divorce docs on the judges desk as I type!)

I'm sure you understand that no two cases are alike, but were just hoping for some support from people who have been / are going through the same stuff!

So, hang in there Tam - you'll soon be through it and living in sunny Arizona having the time of your life!

Good luck!

Well on a good note, Jamal is here with me right now (YAY!). We havent received P3 yet sad.gif But I was wondering when we send it back we only send the checklist, the forms that I fill in right? I dont need to send the I-134, thats for the interview? Jamal brang everything with him except the noa2 and the letter from his bank to support the I-134. Can I just print all the things I need and send that in to the embassy? They takin forever sending the p3 to me!!!
