there was no need to worry about immigration.
took 10 mins for my 2 inspections.
queueing up was longer.
1st inspection - he took my passport & I-94, then just did some stuff on my computer.
then said "Welcome to the USA".
he didn't even take my fingerprints or my photo.
had to collect my baggage, then bring my unopened envelope from the embassy to my 2nd inspection.
he too looked at my passport, stamped my visa. put shorter section of I-94 in my passport.
he opened the envelope, didn't even look through it.
then sent me on my merry way.
oh yeah, and he said we could go to the US Virgin Islands for our honeymoon.
Yippee! kicking.gif
hope this helps those people worrying about coming to the USA.
it was a breeze.
thanks to all those who have helped me so far in this forum.

Really? I thought they did this to everyone (well non-USC and non-LPRs anyway).

Which one of the three (VA, DC or MD) are you living in?

The licence regulations are somewhat different based on that parameter (or, are you getting the licence ENTIRELY OUTSIDE this region, as we did?).
uk2usa
i am currently living in VA

i am currently living in VA

Virginia Marriage Licence Laws

('course, if you plan on a religious wedding OUTSIDE VA, you may want to check the regulations in the state where you're planning to do this, as combined licence/religious may save you some time).

I see that you're from the UK, have you been added to the 'Brits in the USA' list I currently maintain on here? It's in this forum, but looks like its now on the 4th page(I need to bump it up again!). If you haven't and would like to be added, just post on that thread and I'll add you(or you can PM me).
