Hang in there, everyone. I know it's especially frustrating when you haven't been "touched" in a while and you begin to think your petition's lost or sitting on a dusty shelf somewhere. But just when you think you're never going to get an approval, those wonderful multiple emails from CRIS will appear in your inbox.

I've been keeping up hope, waiting everyday for this to happen, but after almost 8 months of waiting, my wife and I have basically given up hope on ever hearing back from immigration. Called the CSC more than 10+ times, and they are worthless. Never are able to provide any insight. I have watched a quite a few other I-130's that were submitted the same day as ours to the CSC, and none of them ever change. Status = pending. Every single day, the same thing. It is groundhog day.

Just a minute: i'm waiting soon 7 mo now for noa2 with others of same date approx but in Vermont...and same as you, no touch,nothing...this seems to me a pattern...did i understand right??...very interesting if it's so...
I don't know what the heck's happening with the I-130's. The official processing date for the I-129F is September 13, 2006, but the I-130 is lagging behind at VSC with a date of March 12, 2006. However, at CSC, the I-130's official processing date is the same as the I-129F, September 13, 2006. (

TomyElvira, you are outside of the official processing times and should contact your congressman, who can help get things moving at CSC for you. knowledge, unfortunately, you aren't outside of the official time frame yet for VSC, so I don't think your congressman can do much for you at the moment. It wouldn't hurt to try, though.
Whatever you do, I hope you see approvals very soon.
