Hey I am wondering if anyone has any experience with Cuban family members coming to the US through an invitation letter for a temporary stay?
We would like to invite my mother-in-law, but would like some advice and/or experiences from others.

I called the US Interest Section in Havana's stateside number to make an interview appointment they are scheduling out until December of 2008. It was my understanding that letter of invitation people did not have to wait so long to get their interview, since it is a visitors visa, but hey ???????
So I would love to hear some other peoples experiences.

Thank You!!!!

I thought that was a document to allow them to leave Cuba, they would still need a visa for whatever country they wished to enter, I assume a B2 for the US.
