Hope everyone is doing very well and things are on the up.
Ive been offline (dont start me on Dial-up!!!), but managed to clock in to let you know, that
finally they sent the Visas!!!

I returned the letter from my Solicitor on the 7th March, Interview was on the 9th Feb.
It took a while as the solicitor had to check with the courts etc ( letter was about Parental Responsibility) and also send a new letter of Intent from John, as our petition expired 16th Feb 07.

Yesterday, a nice courier delivered the 2 envelopes and our passports/visas back!!
Im so happy I could scream,
I think Ive aged a few years in the last 7 months, but would like to say what a great help you all have been.

Ive updated my timeline, but my forum signature is apparently too long?

We'll be leaving on 4th June, which is about 11 weeks time.
With payday at the end of May, School finishing for Half term on 25th May, it is the best time.
Of course, if I won the lotto, I'd be outta here!!!!
but we need to get things sorted so and save as much dosh as possible, also I have to clear out
the entire contents of my flat, give 4 weeks notice etc.


We're sooo excited!!!
Flights at the moment for me and my daughter come in at about £700 with BA direct from London Gatwick to Atlanta, so thats the one!
Will be booking it next week.
