Hello...


I got here on a K-1 Visa.. got married last feb 24 and just applied for my SSN last March 5..I am still waiting for my SSN and will be sending the AOS at the end of March.. However I applied for a job here in Boston for a well known non for profit organization as a program accountant.. I was already interviewed on the phone and I will have an interview with the hiring manager this coming Thursday and most probably with the accounting manager..I am of course will be asked about my status..I am thinking of applying for EAD online but my concern is that it will end with my I-94 which will end this April 24... I am thinking of sending the AOS first then after receiving the NOA 1 then I will apply for my EAD online..

Any thoughts about this action???

Why not apply for your EAD at the same time as AOS?

It seems to be taking the full 90 days to get one right now.

I agree...why are you waiting to file EAD? It will get processed faster (methinks) by filing it concurrently with your AOS. Your employer will need to fill out the I-9 and without an EAD they can't do that.
