Lira and I always talked about getting married on 07-07-07. But we didn't get our hopes up because of the delays in this process and, not to mention, that particular day will be a popular day for weddings-- go figure.
Anyway, I went to the JP's office today to get the I-134 notarized and started talking to him about this process and our plans. He checked his planner and said that he has nothing scheduled for that day yet. I asked him how much does it cost to make reservations. To my surprise he said nothing. So we have actually set a date!!!

every one is asking me when is the date..when is the date...i just roll my eyes ..

We have a date but keep reminding everyone that it is TENTATIVE.... I can change things at the last minute if I have to because I have been planning for many years , we are doing almost everything ourselves and we live in a town where you really dont have to book things but a month in advance... that includes a wedding site.....

Our wedding date still tentative but we are hoping to exchange "i do's" on his bday this june.
It is just a simple solemn wedding with our family, it is his family who prepares evrything for this special event of our lives, all i do is to say ok or simply nod (Lol!). I think they are more excited than me... then after 2 years, a wedding here in PI.
