hello...new to all this but i was wondering...can my fiance and i go back to his country for a wedding ceremony after a wedding in the states if we have not applied for the temporary green card and then come back within the 90 days? thanks

A K1 visa is a one-time entry. If he wants to leave the US, he can, but he CAN NOT come back in.

No. If you do, he wouldn't be allowed to re-enter unless you filed and received Advance Parole before then. The K-1 only allows for one entry into United States. Unless there's something I don't know about, the only other way he could re-enter would be to file for a K-3, which basically puts you back at the beginning!

If this is what you want to do, might as well have that ceremony before coming to the USA. Just be certain that having the ceremony does not create a marriage recognized by the authorities.

He can possibly leave and come back within the 90 days if you do not first get married in the USA, but he must get back and get married to you within the 90 days. And he must convince the consulate to re-issue the visa, which they may or may not be willing to do.
