Hello all,
I was wondering if any of you have changed your address before the green card arrives in the mail. i had to move out of my old apt. and in the meantie my father entered the US and is awaiting for his green card. I called uscis, apparently it takes them 45 days to provcess a change of address request(god nows why it takes them so long!). My question is how do i find out if the gc has been mailed, and what if we dont receive it.

hi there

if you have a received your NOA1 that they have received your application you can go onto the USCIS website and sign
up to receive emails when the greencard is approved..then you will get one to say it has been mailed out to you...

if you have already notified USCIS why dont you get your mail from your old adress forwarded to your new address until it arrives..
