My friend is married, they filed the K-3 visa and got to the scheduled interview. She went up to the desk and because she didn't have enough proof of relationship, she was refused her interview. This was in Guangzhou, China. They did not issue her a blue slip. This was in October 2006. They have been writing the consulate to see when she will get another interview but have not received any answers. They have been married since July 2004 and really want to be together. Does anyone have any suggestions as what they can do now????

Your friend needs to join A Candle For Love and ask the question there they know way more about Guangzhou than anywhere else. http://candleforlove.com

Did your friend get a White Slip? If that is the case, they need to get a lawyer involved here in the states to apeal the decision at USCIS, the case should be in the States by now if white sliped.

Did you try to send more proof of your relationship by mail to the embassy under your petition number? Perhaos if they see the proper amount of proof they will issue a new appointment date.
