Well after a very long eternity of suffering through this extensive wait we finally received an interview (just within the hour) on the immigration website status page in Manila.

Visa Classification: K3
St. Luke's Appointment Date: Wednesday, May 09, 2007 (7:00:00 AM)
Embassy Appointment Date: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 (7:30:00 AM)

Of course we prefer the CR1, it has yet to kick an interview and we have yet to receive any paperwork for either cases.

If anyone knows how we can request a CR1 interview on this date, now would be a great time to chime in and let us know We would greatly appreciate it!

Ohh wow that just BLOWS MY MIND!! Congrats!!!! Cant believe the emotional release and explosion that just came with this news. An entire years worth of stress built up and finally released in one milisecond. Ohhh man, everyone nothing can beat this feeling!

At the time of your interview & if your CR case file is there at the Embassy, you can ask the consul if they'll let. I've heard about a couple of applicants were given the CR visa instead of K-3 but there's no guarantees.

My wife is scheduled for her interview on May 16th as well. The website for Manila interviews has been updated so you can check using your MNL# now. I'll be there for her interview. Any other petitioners going to be there?

Wow, I just decided to call NVC and the CR1 case has been completed on March 8th! Does that mean they made a CR1 interview and shipped it off to us? My head is spinning with happiness hehe.

Congrats on both!! You probably have a good chance of getting the CR1 interview at the same time!

Congrats!! I love to hear approvals and interviews!! Sounds like you may have a shot at the CR1. Check again with the Embassy after they receive your package!!..

Congratulations! Melinda and I went to her interview in Manila October 18th. It was so stressful but ended up being a great day as we received the approval and got the visa 10 days later.

Wow thanks everyone Say, what airline did you two fly back to the states? I have been using Cathay Pacific. When did you make your reservations and how quick were you able to get back once you got the visa?

COUNT me in! Rob, you know ill be there, sounds like even more wanting to join. Great for all. Congrats everybody! Fria's med sch. for the 9th, but will take early. Coming up from Bacolod. Nowhere to stay. Anyone wanting to join up with her, contact me. Share motel and experiences. She will be free to go just about anytime. ( after appt letter and passport recieved back from the dfa; chg to married name) All of this is driving me nuts. Oh well, ill pay the price. We are heading up to Manila on the 8th via Cebu Pacific. Not sure yet where we are going to stay though. Just going to make it a nice little weekly tour of Manila hehe.
