I have been waiting since 08/06 and I am going crazy without my husband. How long have other people been waiting that applied through CDJ?
bbintoh
Give yourself another 3 months. things are changing and you need to have patience. I think its taking 10 months now. good luck

You can compare your timeline to many others on immigrate2us.net. It appears CDJ is now working on those waivers filed in April, 06.
nelly

I dont like immigrate2us.net - I registered 3 times because of some DEBUG error then it tells me my IP has already registered but it wont take my username and password. Pissed me off and its slow as hell.

I know it`s a pain, but it`s still my favorite site. If you want to see more Juarez timelines, a bunch of I2US folks started hanging out here out of frustration:

Unfortunately, there`s nothing about other consulates or embasies.

Wow - WHY NOT?? Sorry to hear Mexico takes SOOO long! I've been sort of averaging my own timeline for waivers with what I see on here when it comes to the London Embassy. Good luck.

Well, it isn`t really an immigration forum- it`s actually a forum dedicated to travelers in Cd Juarez, Chih., but a bunch of us ended up there to be able to keep in touch when the server at our regular site goes south.

Heidi, according to the information posted on immigrate2us.net, CDJ is currently working on waivers filed in May so you should be close!

My husband had his interview on June 8, 2006 and he has been in Mx ever since. But from what Warren said they are working thru May's and into June's.

My husbands interview was May 19, 06. We had a baby (our second) in January and he missed it. He has yet to meet him. crying.gif Last I checked they were working on March, that's all I can find. Where did someone find May?

www.immigrate2us.net in the 601 forum.

On attorney Laurel Scott's chat last week the Officer in Charge from CDJ participated and said they were working on May. Who knows.

Hang in there. I really hope that your husband will be home just in time. I explained in another post, but my husband left before his appointment in Ciudad Juarez because his dad was dying. I was about a month in a half pregnant. We thought that there was hope that he would be back for the birth, but he wasn't. My baby was born on June 10, 2006, and his appointment was June 27, 2006 in Ciudad Juarez. Luckily it was a very quick labor because just as I was starting to really miss him everything went very fast. I went to his appointment, so he met our daughter when she was 2 weeks old. I was able to stay in Mexico with him until early August before I had to come back for work. Besides the month and a half that he saw her, he has missed her whole first year. It has been devastating. Our 4 year old has also changed so much. I was able to go to Mexico for two weeks in December of 2005 (he left early November 2005) and then again in the summer, but he has pretty much missed a year and a half of her life, which is a huge part since she is only 4. It sounds like there is a good chance your husband will be back in time. I will be keeping you in my thoughts.

Hello,

Please don't lose hope. I applied for my stepkids on 8/3/06 and the approval letter arrived today. Can anyone tell me what comes next?

Congrats! They'll send you an appointment for visa pickup. If more than a year has passed, new medical and fees are required. Best place for more info. is www.immigrate2us.net in the 601 forum.
