Wow - WHY NOT?? Sorry to hear Mexico takes SOOO long! I've been sort of averaging my own timeline for waivers with what I see on here when it comes to the London Embassy. Good luck.
Well, it isn`t really an immigration forum- it`s actually a forum dedicated to travelers in Cd Juarez, Chih., but a bunch of us ended up there to be able to keep in touch when the server at our regular site goes south.
Hang in there. I really hope that your husband will be home just in time. I explained in another post, but my husband left before his appointment in Ciudad Juarez because his dad was dying. I was about a month in a half pregnant. We thought that there was hope that he would be back for the birth, but he wasn't. My baby was born on June 10, 2006, and his appointment was June 27, 2006 in Ciudad Juarez. Luckily it was a very quick labor because just as I was starting to really miss him everything went very fast. I went to his appointment, so he met our daughter when she was 2 weeks old. I was able to stay in Mexico with him until early August before I had to come back for work. Besides the month and a half that he saw her, he has missed her whole first year. It has been devastating. Our 4 year old has also changed so much. I was able to go to Mexico for two weeks in December of 2005 (he left early November 2005) and then again in the summer, but he has pretty much missed a year and a half of her life, which is a huge part since she is only 4. It sounds like there is a good chance your husband will be back in time. I will be keeping you in my thoughts.
