I have one question regarding the N-400 application. Do I need to send 2 separate checks for the processing fee and the biometrics ($330 + $70), or one check in the amount of $400 ?

Thanks for your help.

You can send just 1 check for the $400. They put the two amounts separately so you can see what exactly it is you're paying for.

I sent in two checks, $330 and $70 and indicated on the memo my A# and what it was for.

Hi!
No,you should send 2 separate checks and seems like it was mentioned somewhere in the Naturalization guide or in the N-400 instructions.

One check of $400 is fine, there is no need to send two separate checks. I sent one check and everyone I know who applied for Naturalization sent only one check. I would suggest not to make things too complicted than they already are.

Yep you can do whichever you want. Most people just do the one check. I think I did 2 for some reason and then realized I didn't have to...

I sent them one money order for $370. This was before the fee increase. ($300 + 70)
