Have found the site really useful so far so thankyou for taking the time to document your experiences! My husband and I are both in the military and met on a joint exercise in Hawaii 3 years ago. After travelling back and forth every 3 months we finally got engaged in July last year. We had the wedding all planned for Adelaide in June, but the recent change to DCF threw the best laid plans into disarray. As I was over in Texas at the time - we made the logical step and married in a county courthouse last week to give us 3 months head start on the immigration process. Im heading back to Aus shortly - and yes - we are still going ahead with the Adelaide wedding in June!
Heres hoping for a speedy immigration process!!
