Do they test for these at the Medical (London specifically)?

Gonhorrea is on the list of diseases but no one has made mention of being tested for STI's outside of a blood test?

Gonhorrea can be cured, however, due to strains of 'superbugs' it has become troublesome with certain variation of Gonhorrea to be cured with antibiotics.

If that's an issue, it can be treated with certain antibiotics. It's known to cause abnormal birth, such as conception within the falopian tube which can be deadly. Or, damaged to the vas deferans within males creating infertility. I don't see why they included gonhorrea as a significant disease since it can be treatable.

I hope they don't look at gonhorrea with a red flag as compared to HIV/AIDS. Afterall, what about syphillis, genital herpes, chlymedia. etc...? Why aren't they included within the CDC lists of significant diseases? Weird.

The medical exam is most concerned with the beneficiaries health as regards 'communicable disease', especially tuberculosis.

Anecdotally, there has been evidence in this community of panel physicians alerting beneficiaries to other conditions and requiring those be treated. I once read of a gentlemen needing follow-up for a shadow on an x-ray.

My husband was told that if there was any remarkable in the exam, he would be notified.
