so i have my noa1 via snail mail...i have "an account" with uscis and can check the status of our petition...i have never rcv'd any electronic notices...i get all these updates from uscis home page and thier monthly newsletter...but nothing on our case...how will they contact me if they need anything or whatever???
If you have signed up for an account on the USCIS website, the only electronic notice you will recieved is via email when your petition is touched. No one gets the NOA1 notice electronically just the ever elusive NOA2.
ah, ok, so they'll e-mail my personal address...thanks and best wishes!
I wanted to clarify my previous statement. You won't get an electronic email just for a "touch". You will physically have to check the USCIS website to see if the date has changed on the petition. If it has, then it's a "touch".
The only email notifications that you will recieve from the USCIS is if an RFE was issued or when an approval notice was sent.
