I already have my medical and interview appointment date but we would like to request for an early schedule because our son, who is an American citizen needed immediate medical care. I already looked into the US Embassy site in Manila and found how to request for an early appointment. My problem is with the Visa Point pin. I dont know what this is. It says here Visa point pin must be provided if you scheduled your appointment thru visa point website. Im all confused here. I dont understand since we didnt schedule our appoinment thru that.
Please help..

Does your son have a US passport? If he is in need of immediate medical care in the US, the USC should immediately take him to get the care needed without waiting for your visa.

There is a chance that you could be granted an early interview due to this situation. Fax a letter to the immigrant visa section of the consulate detailing the situation and why it would be beneficial to the USC spouse and/or son for you to join them immediately in the US.
