after 5 months i got 3 emails stating that an approval notice has been sent. there were no prior touches, so there were no signs that something was going to happen. patience, thats all i can say and i hope things move along for anyone else in the vermont office

Siigh. I''m not a patient person But I guess I'll have to learn sometime. You'd think they'd hire more people or do something of the sort if they find themselves flooded with applications.

Congratulation!! One more in Vermont in Oct has been approved. I hope mine will be approved soon. I am 3 days later.

I think it's great for you to get approved, but my application has been sitting there since July, and you get an October approval?! I just don't get it:-(

thanks all for the well wishes. there's no satisfactory reason why some get approved faster than others. there are many who filed after me and got approved before i did, in about 3 months, it could just be the case worker or the country the person seeking the visa is from, i just don't know. having this site has made things easier by being able to get advice and knowing that others are in the same situation. thanks all and lets keep supporting each other.
