I thought I had correct passport photos UNTIL I realized they were 1) not "official" size (they're 4.5cm x 3.5cm instead of the 5cm x 5cm described by the rules) and 2) my fiancee's head is turned just *slightly* to the right. All indications say that I need "official" photos that are "full face, front view, eyes open" but she's looking slightly to the right, which cuts off her left ear a tiny bit. And she's not really smiling but she doesn't have a completely natural expression either. How big of a problem is this?
A better question might be, if these photos aren't okay, where can I get "official" passport size photos in Munich, Germany?

Hi Josh:
My then fiancee and I did her passport photo in Frankfurt. We just went to a photo studio near Merian platz and showed them the specs for passport photo. They were quite expensive compared to what it would have cost here in the States. But, my point is, we got the job done.
Good luck on your visa journey.

Every photographer does those pictures in Germany. I did them in a little town in Thuringia, so I am pretty sure that there's a bunch of guys in Munich capable of taking those pics! Print out the requirements and any photographer will be able to help you, most of them already know since a lot of Au Pairs need the pictures as well.
I paid 10 Euros for 4 pictures.
Edit: I had the pics taken in February 2006.

Can someone be more specific on what size the official passport photo should be for K1 or K3 visas? Thanks.
