Hi All,

Getting ready to file this I-751 form and been gathering supporting documents all weekend so a bit tired. Now for my last miute questions smile.gif

1) For the fee, I was going to just send a personal check (instead of money order) - what should I put down on the memo?

2) For my supporting letters from friends about our marriage, will sending the photocopy of the these notarized statements be fine or do they need originals?

3) Also, for the copy of the Green card - does it have to be a notarized copy or will a photocopy be fine?

4) On the I-751 form, for part 4 information about the spouse, for A# (if any) - I'm US citizen so don't have an A#, should I put down "None" or "N/A" - help on this one?

5) I'm assuming we are no longer required to send any passport sized photographs with this petition - I guess this happens later and they call you in for their own pictures during biometric services? Let me know if i'm wrong and I need to send two passport sized pictures.

Thanks for your help all.

I've put my name and A# and "fee for I751 petition" and "fee for biometric services for I751".

Thanks for answering the questions.

Another question I had is - when mailing the form and other documents, did you guys put the I-751 form in the front or the cover letter in the front and put the I-751 form right behind the cover letter? Also how did you attach the check to which form Cover letter or I-751 form?

I've put my coverletter on top of the I751 and attached the checks to the I751 form. I've also heard of people attaching the check to the cover letter, so I guess it's rather a question of personal preference.

Another question - does the check have to be signed by me (US citizen spouse) or my wife (who is getting her conditions removed for her GC)?

I really don't think it matters who signs the check. I remember that hubby signed the checks for AOS back then. This time I signed the checks.

Did you guys staple the 2 pages of the I-751 form together or just use a clip?
Tammi
Stapled the two pages together, put the cover letter on top, check paper clipped to the I-751 form, and it doesn't matter who signs the check.

Already mailed it out this morning but didn't use a staple, just used a clip to put both pages of form together and the check. Figure this is fine.
