Ok guys....packet three all ready to send. Most other posters have mentioned sending 2 passport pix with their DS-156 forms. Well, I must be blind, cuz I've been over and over the instructions and I can't find where it says to send them WITH the DS 156 in duplicate (plus DS-156k, DS-230). Have I just been looking at these forms too long??

Must have been looking too long but you definitely need them, I took mine with me at the interview....

Thanks flutter....BUT....did you send them WITH the Packet 3 stuff or just take them with you to the interview? Arrrgh. How can such "simple" stuff become so anxiety provoking? wacko.gif

I *think* the requirement goes with one of the forms - the DS 156? Isn't there a "paste photo here" kind of spot on one of the visa applications? (those forms are the same ones anyone would use for any visa - multi-purpose, right? and all visas require a photo and end up with the photo on them, pasted into your passport).

I didnt send mine with packet 3, just took them along to the interview.

If I remember right, the instructions say to bring them to the interview. There's a place for them to be attached to the form - but I'm sure they'll do that on the day! Seems like some people send them with the forms, and some take them to the interview.... so either should be fine. But they are listed among the documents required to be presented at interview, aren't they? That's what I'm doing...

Take them to the interview. The consulate officer staples them to the forms.
Adman
I stapled mine to the forms, they had no problem with it come interview day.

Just make sure they're the right size! (50mm x 50mm)

Judging by the replies in this thread, it appears you can do it either way...
flutter95
I thought you had to take them with you and let THEM attach it but seems like it doesn't matter.

I took mine to the interview.

I did both!

I attached one to the form, then photocopied the form with photo attached (it was the one they wanted in duplicate) and sent them off wit the other forms. At the interview he asked me for another photo.

And I used standard UK passport sized photo's.

good.gif Thanks everyone for your replies. It really puts my mind at ease to know that either way gets the job done! One more "item" checked off the list......just medical on 29th Mar. and the interview remain.
