Hi Everyone!

I really want to buy some new nigerian/african films but unfortunately where I live its hard to get the latest videos...I am just so crzay for nigerian films because I love the comedy,drama, action and suspense that nigerian films entail and still doing it tastefully without any highly explicit sexual content!

I came across this website called www.africvideos.com and wanted to know if any vj members have used this website to buy any nigerian films? This topic came up before and many recommended nigeriamovies.net but unfortunately they do not have the movies I want to purchase....

Actually, I have bought a few of the movies from Africvideos myself. I haven't had any delivery problems from them either. I found them off of ebay and I think they are the most legit as I've been dealing with them for over a year now. They have a slew of great movies. I love watching Nigerian movies too, almost better than American movies. My fiance is a little uneasy with me watching them because he think that I may get some wrong ideas from them. He is surprised because I know the names of the Nigerian actors more than he does. Just shows how much I watch them.

Anyway, Here are some movies that I recommend and think that they are reaallly good: Games women play, Cry like Rivers, Keeping faith.

I like watching Nigerian movies but all of mine come from abroad . I have a bout 30 or so. where do you by them and how much do they cost?

I usually buy my videos from Africvideo.com or I just go to ebay and type in Nigerian videos or Nigerian movies and a few will pop up. Just look into the sites and you can pick which is best to your taste. The ones I buy from Africvideos is around $4.00 or so and the shipping is very cheap. Check it out. I also borrow a few movies from a good lady friend of mine who is from Liberia. She seems to own a whole store full of african Nigerian videos! Whenever she get something new she would watch it first and then she'd let me borrow it afterwards. Such a good friend she is.

Thanks for the info: I just got finished watching a movie for the last 2 hours I think, The first one I watched was Darkness of Sorrow Pt.1,2,3,4. Darn that movie was good!!!!!!!!

Not as bad as the title suggest their were some parts of the movie that related to the title. It had a happy ending, I will not ruin it by telling what it was about just in case others will watch it. I suggest it , I thought it was a good movie.

I love watching Nigerian movies. They are better than American movies to me. I used to buy mine from nigeriamovies.net( never had any problems with service or shipping and great selection) , but here in Houston there are a ton of Nigerian stores and I just rent them now. It's $9.99/month to rent an unlimited amount for as long as I want. It's much cheaper for me to just do it that way.
