Hey guys,

I have been searching around on this forum, but have not seen anyone post how long it takes to get the results back for the x-rays and blood tests (HIV). My fiance went to one of the doctors in Botofogo.

Can anyone help us with how long it will take for the results? She will go take the x-rays and blood test this week.

My fiance was told to wait a week for the blood tests and 10 days for the x-ray. I think the x-ray may have been done even sooner than that.

I got the X-ray the next day and the blood tests took about a week.

I had all the exams in hand before going to the doctor's appointment. I went to Dr. Duarte in Leblon. I called his office beforehand and asked his secretary which exams I had to bring. It made things easier.

Thanks!!! Fabi will get the x-rays tomorrow...and the blood test she took today is supposed to be ready in 10 days. You guys are right on! Thanks!! That is about the same day she should get her police report. Now we are just waiting for the interview date!

It took me a day to get the results for the x-ray and blood test, but that was in Curitiba. It really depends on the lab, so she should ask and they'll know how long it takes.

With Dr. Joaquim if you go in the morning all is ready on the same day in the afternoon, and you leave with your sealed envelope already in hands.
