Hi, I saw some people posting at their timeline like on their 2nd day of med exam at St Luke's "passed" . I'm wondering if they will let you know you passed on the 2nd day or you'll just find out when you had the interview when you give the brown envelope to the consul.

Hi gracy_byron,

My wife just had her physical last week. I think that if you don't pass physical, they tell you so you can correct any problems and have another physical.

Also, when you come back the second day and have vaccinations and receive your xray and receipt..... that means you passed.

About the brown envelope you take to interview?
I don't know anything about that. The only brown envelope I'm aware of is the one you get with your passport and visa when Delbros delivers it to you.

Thats the brown envelope you take to usa and give at point of entry.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway good luck and God Bless,
Mike

Dont think too much about that!! Only thing that would deny a visa is when a patient have a communicable diseases. on the 2nd day, the guard will tell u whether u go to vaccination or just present ur receipt at the counter and wait for ur name to be called. One thing Ive noticed is when u heard ur name called at counter G, usually they would tell u if u need another test, repeat xray, or go to physician if u have some findings. So rest is ok, u will be getting ur xray film, vaccination records, they will get ur passport and u have to give them 2 visa photos and ur good to go and wait for ur interview date...

Good Luck!!!

Try not to worry. It will be a female Dr. And you have the same things as a million other girls she has seen. Try to think of her nakid too. It will help and probably make you laugh! Good luck to you! Mike

Gracy,

That was my wife's biggest fear also. She had her medical on Feb 21-22 and did very well. She gave me the blow by blow description, including what happened during her exam. It was quick and painless. She mentioned that there were many questions. They will ask the same question in several different ways to try to confuse you. Suddenly, she's an expert now, giving advice to a friend of hers from the same town who will have her medical next month. She's also given her VJ medical guide to her friend. Many at St. Luke's were impressed with her tabbed notebook jammed with information from VJ. Interestingly, her friend from the same tiny town on Leyte will be here in Ohio, about 3 hours away!! What are the odds? We're going to meet at the specatular Asian Festival in Columbus in May.

Good luck!!

Michael

Helooh guys,

Is there any requirements needed after the medical exam aside from the important things listed here in VJ?

I know what you mean, we did the same, worrying about all sorts of crazy things. Hang in there, you will be ok. Good luck good.gif
