Greetings all,

It is very frustrating to see all the posts where everyone else seems to have their I-130's approved in a relatively timely manner. We have been waiting since August 2, 2006. Nothing. No touches. Nothing. Their website is absolutely a lie when it says they have completed paperwork for people from August 20, 2006. I put in a few other numbers similar to ours, with the same receipt date, and all of them show "pending."

I called the number to try to get a status update, as they are no outside of their normal processing time of six months. After jumping through hoop after hoop, and spending more than 30 minutes answering a bunch of really stupid questions, the person gave me a reference number and said someone from the California Service Center would contact me with an update within, get this, 45 DAYS!

WE'RE both beyond frustrated crying.gif . The USCIS's website timelines are totally bogus, and trying to get a response from them is like talking to a brick wall. Actually, I think we'd get further talking to a brick wall.

ANY SUGGESTIONS???? Are we EVER going to get a response? mad.gif

See if your local representative of one of your Senators or Representatives can get some information. We had good luck with our Senator's intervention--the Nebraska Service Center 'found' our lost I-130 which was approximately two months past the date of those applications the USCIS website said they were working on. Good luck!

You have to be more patient sometimes it happens, though ours didn't take that long but some does because the USCIS have a lot to take care of, all you need do is pray and exercise more patient i believe you will get a response real SOON!
