Ok,

So i have package 3, and most of the correlating evidence is on its way...while I'm taking deep breaths trying not to hyperventilate, what should I actually be doing?

Should I send back the first part ASAP? (the DS156, 156k and the 157k)
Should I book a medical now? (or is it best to try and get one the day before? Dont fancy travelleing to London repeatedly!)
or should I run around going AAAAAAARGH!

My police check is 2 weeks applied for, my fiancee is mailing me her stuff on Saturday/monday?

I'm so excited, but it seems like this is the part that is easy to not do as efficiently as possible/

Thanks

Teddy

Go ahead and book your medical, it is unlikely they will give you an interview date and a medical date within 48 hours of each other, they used too a looooooooong time ago but not anymore. Two trips im afraid.

Next get all your bits and bobs together ASAP and send it all of together.

Good luck

The only problem with your scenario is that the doctor has to get the medical results to the Embassy before they will issue the visa. The doctor needs 2 to 3 days to get the result of the tests back and then has to send them to the Embassy.

If you want the Embassy to be able to say you have the visa on the day of the interview you need to have had your medical in time for them to have received the results.

I have to agree with lansbury about the timing thing.

Its a pain, but its gotta be done. and when you go to london for the medical you can do a dummy run to the embassy to locate it and everything.

Send in those forms ASAP, it helps them so they can get on with your case biggrin.gif

It's a pain to go up there twice...but just think, you're leaving the UK for good so take the opportunity to do a bit of last minute sight seeing around the capital city. Eat out at a nice restaurant and have some fun.
