Hello to all VJ's!!!! What a very wonderful day for me!! I Just received my packet 4 couple of days ago, Since I am very worried about medical exam, I called St. Lukes first to confirm if I could go there early?! and good thing the lady I've spoken that day told me, yes indeed I can, all I need to bring is my k3 packet 4 appointment letter, passport and 3 visa photos.

Yesterday, I came there around 7:30 am and I was really suprised cuz there were a lot of people. I was with my friend but the guard didnt allow her to come with me inside the clinic (pity on her cuz she waited for me the whole day outside). So there you go, 1st the guard check my appointment letter (you should photocopy it) and gave me forms for me to fill out, after filling it out they took me a photo and present again my documents/forms at US Reception counter. US Reception told me to proceed at the 5th floor and paid my medical fee. It cost me almost 4,655php and went down to 3rd floor for X-ray. Gee, It took me 2 hours for my name to be called. After xray,went up to 4th floor for blood extraction and urine test. I presented my forms and passport, signed the consent form and waited like 15mins before they told me to proceed to laboratory for the test. I really didnt like the syringe cuz it's kinda big and nurse doesnt even care if u feel hurt or not. At this point the lady at the 4th floor just told me to proceed to 5th floor for vital signs. (they didnt give me the result of pregnancy test as what I thought) It's already 11am at that time. Again It took another 2 hours just getting my weight, height, blood pressure and eye check up. Since I felt so hungry so I ask the US counter If I could take my lunch?! Well, They allowed me and I came back after an hour and asked them again If my name already called?! and this stupid lady from US Counter kept on telling to wait for my name since she havent even asked my name yet?! And when I finally told my name; that's the only time she checked my name if im already in line for immunization interview.My interview with the physcian only took like a minute!!! Im serious!! She just asked me if I already had a chicken pox and where my scar is?! I said yeah I had when I was 2 yrs old, and I didnt know where my scar is, I was like hello!!! that was really ages ago and I cant even remember it. The doctor just asked me If I want my vaccine to be done here or in the states since I am k3 visa.

After Vaccination interview, I have waited again for my name and told to go to room 17, this time gonna be a physical exam where thee physician will ask you couple of questions and you have to take off all ur clothes but u can wear a hospital gown. Good thing the lady physician wasnt that thorough to check all my body, It was really really quick and yeah I done it in only 5minutes. I presented my forms back to US counter and gave me the receipt. I was told to come back the next day for releasing (or it depends whether to take further tests or repeat xray)

2nd day was really a torture feeling cuz you wouldnt know if u have problems or what?!! I came today around 1:30pm and I saw some people from yesterday again. There's this one gurl for k1 visa have to do some phsychiatric test before her interview on march 8th and didnt able give her xray film yet!!! So I kept waiting for my name, and around 430pm I heard my name,asked me to go to 2nd floor to immunization doctor. The doctor just confirmed that I will be doing my vaccination in the states. Then I went down again and waited for another 2 hours until they called my name!!! FINALLY, I got my xray film and vaccination record to be presented at the embassy. Since I'll be in Hong Kong next week, They just photocopied my passport and wrote the reason why I need to get my passport then I need to bring it also on my interview date. And OLA! I got my passport back, xray film and vaccination record (Hint: If u heard ur name to go to window G, that's the time u need to worry, usually that window is for people who have further test,repeat xray or findings, they will tell u what to do)

Yay, I feel like in seventh heaven now!!! A very great feeling IM done with my medical exam!!! Time to wait for my interview date now!!!!

hi..is there a difference between packet 3 and 4? i am from the phils too and my fiance is from florida...

chad, when do you send your I134? did you need to submit it to uscis or whoever? we were approved last feb 13 but papers are not sent to manila USE yet...i wonder if my fiance only need to send the I134 to me and ill just bring it to the interview...

hope u could help me...that affidavit of support makes me sick!

Hi, there is no packet 3 in the philippines, although some people consider the letter from the embassy as packet 3. And yes youre right. Your fiance will get the 134 notarized and send it to you, along with everything else he needs to send you, then you will bring that information to the interview.

I am from Manila, Philippines. No we have no appointment dates yet. ALthough we received this unique notice from the USCIS with the words.."Document OTHER THAN card manufactured and mailed"...since the approval on Feb 13, 2007, no notice of approval was sent to my fiance...he called last week and that was the notice they sent us...expect to receive that within 30 days...we were disappointed coz all the while we were hoping that our papers are already on their way to the US embassy in the Phils...im hoping that papers will be sent here already...hoping that my medical and interview dates will be in june...

how about your fiancee? does she has dates already?
