Just wanted to say howdy. I married my sweetheart in Bogota Colombia at the end of September. We are currently in month four of the I-130 process, and somewhere between month one and three of the I-129 process (depending on whether you start counting when you send your documents to Chicago or they get booted on to California).

I've already found many helpful posts and links to information. I only wish I had found you guys six months sooner! blush.gif

I'm also fairly new to the site. I discovered it last week while I was waiting for my AOS interview which was last Thursday. It went well except for the whole FBI name check backlog. So I didn't get a stamp or anything and I'm still waiting for my EAD. My company has been very supportive and put me on unpaid administrative leave after my visa expired in early March.

I do have a question about the touches. I just created my portfolio at the USCIS site, and I see that my EAD application was last updated 4/3/07. There is no other info and it still just says "Current Status: Case received and pending." Would this update be described as a touch since nothing really seems to have changed with my status?

Thanks!
