Great!! thanks for redoing the list....now hopefully we can start adding some NOA2's to it!!!

Also wanted to say thanks for reposting the list, we know it takes time and I think we all appreciate it. I don't really like looking at it but I have moved from #8 to #5 so maybe I will be approved soon.

I don't blame you, Steph... 5 months waiting for your NOA2.. it is too much time.. at least are you enjoying Bahia with your love ?

I am waiting over 6 months now, and today I am particularly upset with it....

I am always sorry to hear of such long waits but there is not much we can do. WE are now moving into our 5 month and for some reason I thought that with being parents it may have been just a wee bit quicker. No such luck!!

I for one cannot understand why the hold up is so long after they have apparently sorted out that fraud ring which we know put applications back a while, surely they should be doing some catching up now.

Going off the processing times which I have been watching for months, I have worked out that ours NOA2 should come in February, so fingers are crossed as they are for all of you, It will happen, we just have to be patient. Luck to all of you

Hi engfridak,

Here is the trick;

If you call 1-800-375-5283, wait to hear the guy's voice (well, it's a guy here anyway).

Then push 1 (i think for english, if it applies).

As soon as you hear his voice again, push 4

Then push 0

Then push the * key

That ALWAYS gets me right through I absolutely cannot stand listening to those automated things when I know I need to speak to a live person, and I used to have a lot of questions.

Also, try to call at 7:59 am local time. They open the lines at 8 am last I knew, and it takes maybe 20-30 seconds to push all the buttoms. It's amazing how long you've got to wait if you wait til 8:05 or 8:10!

I went nuts while waiting for the NOA2 from CSC (after the TSC transfer). Now I'm going nuts waiting for GUZ to receive and send a P4.

I wasn't touched either until I sent an email to CSC and got a standard response back. I wonder if there is even any point in sending an email to CSC if the same response always comes back.

The waiting continues...

Some people get NO touches between NOA1 and 2 so don't panic
And we shouldnt be chatting on this list or Engfridak will get the whips out - oy

Congratulations on the approval, it is so nice to hear of them and just goes to show that it is of no benefit looking at the processing times of CSC because they show K1's as processing from October and yet yours is from November!! absolutely great.

I hope that the same applies to the processing times for the I-130, that would be really good also

Our petition was one of those that were delayed due to background checks. There used to be a thread on it but I can't find it anymore. In November they told us to wait 6 months. In December they told us to wait another 6 months. I hope our approval provides courage to others who are going through background checks, especially those who received NOA1s around the same time we did.

To me and my fiancee, this is a miracle. I don't know what the forum rules are on discussing religion, but my fiancee and I are Catholic and we did go to a pilgrimage in November and prayed novenas the past couple of weeks. If anyone wants a copy of the prayers, please PM me. Thanks.
