Why is there so little Cambodians here? Even so, where are the Thais? Not many. The Vietnamese community here seem to be striving. If you are Thai, or Cambodian come in here and say Hi to me.

Happily married to a wonderful Cambodian. We have been through the process and are waiting to apply for 10 year card in November.

Cambodians have been mixed in with the Thai on Sawadee thread because until Feb we have had to go to Bangkok to get our visas.
I haven't heard from anyone who has gone through Phnom Penh yet. I would be nice to find out if it working out.

Hello Consolemaster:

I am not Cambodian, but been thru it, done it, and was used unfortunately.
Not what you want to hear, but I know of a large number of girls who have used guys to get here thru the Cambodian language Cener where we live. We have only one of two temples in the whole state here, and so you meet just about every one in the state and surrounding states who come here. But also on the happier note. Like the others who navigate their relationships successfully, you will find that like most Asians, the devoted ones with proper up bringing and true Buddhist Sense are worldly in taking care of their spouses, and literally wait on them. This is common among Asians of all sorts, but the Khmeer culture is truly one that an American having been lucky enough to experience, and had an opportunity to travel to see as well, with have memories etched in their soul that they will never forget. I hope you made it a point to go to Angkorwat, and the other 1000+ temples thru out Cambodia. But do not forget to go to Phnom Penh. It is dirty, backwards in a way, and yet beautiful in culture, historical venues, and breath taking as it is like going back in time, though they are improving now. Take lots of pictures, as things will change, and the world learning about it slowly, will certainly influence them , and I hope they never lose who they are because of it. Hope you enjoy your journey, and dont let the bad things I have told you in any way influence you. Enjoy your Lady, and try to learn their language. I am highly respected in our circles her still even after divorce, but it's because I Love Khmeer Culture, as I do all Asian Culture, but the Khmeer Culture is different in all ways . Their dress, language, and their people are all unique, and beautiful. Oh..have fun learning the dances, it is enlightening to go and dance and never touch your lady.
A highly respected culture.
God Bless, and Awkun Chon

The temples are awesome. Angkor Watt is now a contender for the new 7 wonders of the world. Here's 2 pictures I've submitted.
