Hi Guys,

I had the following questions for the I-751 form?

1) For payment, what works - regular check or cashier's check?

2) For the evidence statements from friends that are US citizens, do they need to provide SSN numbers on the statements?

3) Do we need to send passport sized photographs with the I-751 form?

Thanks.
Sammy1980

read the form! no SSNs required for the affidavits as per the I751 form instructions, no passport photographs either.

1. Regular check is OK and you can track cashing,
2. SS #'s are not needed, but we added phone numbers.
3. Yup on the photos.

Listed below is the list from the letter we wrote to support AOS.

• Check # 2219 in the amount of $960.00 made payable to the Department of Homeland Security. Fees are based on my AOS documents totaling $325.00, my daughters AOS documents totaling $225.00, AP for myself totaling $170.00. AP for my daughter totaling $170.00 and my biometrics fee of $70.00.
• Form I-485 – Application to Register Permanent Residence

• Birth Certificate and certified translation – Copy

Geesus -- go and read the freaking instructions to form I-751. It states very clearly whether photos are required.

You're talking about the I-485 and he's asking about the I-751.

As the poster above said, the directions very clearly state do not send pictures as they take them when they take your fingerprints at the biometrics appointment.

I hope you didn't send them in yet. Known fact, USCIS wants these fees to be made on separate checks. You can not combine them together. I know people who got the whole package return and check uncashed because they sent the total amount for AOS, AP or/and EAD fees.

Please double check!!!
