Did you get your Notice of Action yet?? Nothing fo us. They cashed the check over a month ago and since then, nothing.

I sent mine in january and i got it back in 7 days - very fast!

I sent mine back in Jan and got it back within 2 wks. If you can access the cancelled check you should be able to obtain the NOA receipt # on the back of the check. I got mine that way and was able to register online days before I recv'd the actual NOA1.

I got ours pretty quick. i think you should call them up and see whats going on.

I live in NYC and i find that when i call between 12PM to 1PM....i get on to a live human being pretty quick.

I'm pretty much on the same boat as you severinep. I sent my I-130 on 02/05 and even though my check was cashed and I got the receipt # off of it, I still don't have an actual NOA1 (even though the web site says they mailed it on 02/14). I called customer service and they said I have to wait 30 days from the date they said they sent me the NOA1, so I have to wait until 03/16. This waiting for that stupid paper is just awful because that just delays sending the I-129F to Chicago. I hate it!

If you can, try to get your receipt # from the cashed check and then call customer service and ask them what happened to your NOA1. Make sure they have your correct address and have them send you the NOA1 asap.

Let us know what happened, I'm curious to see what they have to say.

I sent the petition on 31st and they received it on Feb. 2nd and I received NOA1 on Feb. 9th.

Normally you should get the NOA1 in a week. I think you'd better make a phone call to them.

I'm not sure if you can. What I did is I went to my bank's web site, pulled out a copy of the cashed check and saw that USCIS wrote a number such as WAC1234567899 on it. Then I went to the USCIS web site, plugged in that number and alas, there it was. I'm not sure if the check for the I-129F will show the same thing but I would double to check to make sure. Keep in mind that I had to stare at the check for like ½ hour to figure out which number it was since it was so blurry.
