I just wanna thank everybody for helping me out to clarify some issues at the time of my filing for I-751. I finally got my GC today from California Service Center. Here's my timeline:

11/26/06 sent petition thru priority mail ($205 fee)
After 2 weeks, petition came back (wrong date on check)
Mailed it back the following day
1/16/07 Biotmetrics taken
2/20/07- petition approved
2/28/07 GC received from the mail.

To those who are still waiting for approval, good luck and just hang in there.

so it took about 3 months or so...

i am going through CSC too... they received my package on Feb 7 and I already got my NOA and my bio appointment is March 13th... It looks like it was a bout a month after your bio appointment that they approved your case....

I filed mine with CSC 2-5-07. NOPA received this week but not the biometrics. Hopefully I will get approved the same speed as you!

Hi everyone, just a quick question ... so it's really a:

$205 personal check/money order .. payment you will send along the I-751 & requirements? or 2 checks one for $205 and one $70 for biometrics?

just curious although its far for me to be. blush.gif

Thx for info's on this!

Congratulations!

We hope that the fee increases that they are asking for will result in the speeding up of processing in other service centers also! (yeah, right).

Wow, you guys had your I-751 approved fast! I'm generally reading these stories ranging from 6 months to 1 year, and now i'm seeing 2.5 months! Awesome. I filed last Friday 3/2/2007 at CSC. Hopefully they'll be just as fast. I sent it overnight, too bad that there was nobody there on Saturday.I had already given up on travel plans for March 14th. With a small miracle, the NOA might get here on time. Fingers crossed.
