I've read that some people are getting really really fast turn-around times with their approvals from the Vermont Service Center...for example

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=56809

I'm happy for that person because I know how much being away from your love one hurts.

So my question is what’s going on with Vermont? Their estimates on https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Proc...eviceCenter=VSC
Is just damn scary (currently processing I-130 for American citizen and their spouse for March 12, 2006)

Is this date accurate? I’ve ready many posts here with people who filed in November/December 2006 and their I-130’s are approved already.

Can someone shed some light of this please….

Thanks

I honestly think they keep the date delayed so they don't have to answer questions from over eager people. ( like me! tongue.gif ) Plus there are some really complicated cases out there.. the information that needs to go back and forth etc..
And we all know this system isn't "blind" the way its supposed to be. People with education or from countries with lower immigration rates seem to get through the system faster.

Their processing times really just reflect the oldest petition they are working on that is held up for whatever reason. The timelines here are much more accurate.

Yes, the timelines on VJ are definitely more reliable! USCIS says its still working on cases sent in way before me... while I already have my fiance in the US. kicking.gif
