I'd like to see what types of names you've given your pets

I'll start...
I have a two year old peach/sand colored tabby (female) named Coco, and a bluish/purple colored betta (male) named Indigo

Presently i dont have a pet, i had to put him to sleep a year ago, but i had a male Dalmatian named Beau. He was 13yrs old.

I am so sorry to hear that. I'm sure you have many memories of the time spent with Beau

I have a male cat named Nietzsche and my hubby has a male cat named Quitt

My pets are all rescues .

you don't have an option for don't know the sex.... how are you supposed to tell the sex of a fish?

We have a goldfish named Psycho....

We have 2 turtles...they don't have names, we just call them "the turtles". I have no clue what sex they are...I've had them for 3yrs, and no babies so I guess they are the same sex.

Kids have a cat named Sugar, but they just call her Kitty. I prefer not to call her anything

My baby is gone now, but I so loved Rockefeller the Rottie. He was so sweet and gentle.

We have a Miniature Pinscher/Sheltie cross.... her name is "Sara"..... dumb name for a dog..... but my son named her that when he was 13 and I didn't have the heart to change it. Sara is now 12 years old.

Can't participate....there's not an option for "no pet"...at least for the time being we haven't one. As soon as we move we want to get a couple of kittens. Maybe a bulldog.

We have 5 cats (we had four and then got a stray..)

My first cat is named Autumn, she's a calico and looks like fall leaves. My ex-boyfriend named her (I try not to think about that too much).

The younger cat is named Sgàthach, which is Scots Gaelic for "shadowy" and "shy" and is the name of the warrior princess for whom the Isle of Skye is named. But mostly we call her "Kitten." Even though she's three. Gareth named her (and also was the one who started calling her "Kitten.")

Dammit, I get to name my next pet!

Actually I want to get 2 kittens from the same litter and name them Tama and Minina, which are stupid, stereotypical cat names (translating roughly as "kitty") in Japanese and Spanish, respectively.

Your dogs are beautiful!!!!!!! The Mastiff is so gorgeous. I have been going to a few rescue sites and petfinder.com for a few months now just to browse. I definitely want to rescue a dog and hopefully by summer i'll be ready.

We have 2 kitties. A pretty black medium fluffy princess named Maya and a fluffy grey/black/brown tabby boy called Oliver. We adopted both of them from shelters.

i have yoshi. a white kitty with one blue eye and one green eye. got him from a client at the vet office i used to work at.

and bugsy. a tuxedo kitty who my mom got at the pound.

both are males. meow~!!!!!!!!

We have Oskar - he's 6(ish) and single. He's not sure what is going on, but isn't happy when we tell him he has to learn to meow in english.. (I think the Texas Kitties will love his accent though..)

Our neo was a rescue, Try NeoRescue.net, many beautiful dogs, pics and details about their tempraments etc. Many of them are in AZ as that is where all the puppy mills are, but they have sections for each state.

In the past, I had a female dog with a common name: Goldy.
Now I have a male and female cat, both with common names: Bandit and Sarah

Brown tabby who is almost one year old named Puck.
Also referred to as Puckie, Puckles or (Mr.) Pucklebutt.

I have a Lab/ Pit mix mostl;y Lab His temperment is that of a Yellow lab

His name is "Comehere"

Because My neighbors daughter would always call out to him as a puppy Come here, Come here,

Well the name stuck
Comehere.

Also have two male cats

Bandit- looks like he is wearing a black mask
and Mr. Cuddles - always smiling and purring, when ever you hold him he buries his head in your shoulders and grips tight with his paws

I have a yellow lab named Chisum (male). Also, two cats - one all white male named Tequila and one tabby mix male named Martini.

1st cat is named BREUKLEN-BK for short
2nd cat is named KIWI STRAWBERRY - SHE IS DELICATE (She looks exactly like BK except the 2 front paws)
3rd cat is named PEACHES - she is calico. orangy looking

I have a yellow lab who will turn 2 in June. His name is Chisum. I also have two male (neutered) cats. Their names are Tequila and Martini.

My baby is a male and 11 months old dachshund, he's so sweet but had a separation anxiety maybe because i spoiled him. He's name is BLUE.

I have the cutest little white dog, Molly. She is a bichon/poodle mix, and weighs 16 pounds. I got her from the SPCA 6 years ago. She is a world traveling dog! She moved with me to Paris for a year, and was absolutely spoiled! She got to go into restaurants and shops with me, and had a great time going everywhere I went. Amazingly, I had people offering to buy my little pound puppy from me. I would never consider it, though. She's like my child!

We have three cats: Jacob, Emmitt, and Pickles.

Jacob and Pickles already knew their names and were adults when we got them from the shelter, but Emmitt was originally named Harold when we got him from a CPL shelter. We changed his name and named him after a Dallas Cowboy (of course).

We have:

Roscoe = 3 y.o. male border collie we got from the animal rescue society
Jackie = female parakeet (not sure of age)
Miming = 8 m.o. female kitten we found in our garage

Pug: Princess Mulan -- goes by mulania or retard
Himalyan Cat: Dutchess Tiberius -- goes by kittie
