Hi there,

I had my fingerprints today and I'm a little concern coz while I was looking at the screen, 7 of my fingers passed the machine but 3 are marked matched unsure.gif . I don't wanna ask questions about it 'cause I think the passing is 51 above and I got the match by 50 that's why it was marked matched. Did anybody has that kind of experience also? Is that gonna take my application longer as normal? Also, when I filled up the form they handed before the fingerprinting, I put my dad's nickname instead of his full name crying.gif . I was a little nervous coz I left my green card but after they checked my driver's licence and stuff, and eventually let me take my fingerprints.

Thank's for any feedback you can share with me! innocent.gif

The fingerprinting is not a test. Don't sweat it. Relax. It doesn't affect your ability to be Naturalized. It's a database system to keep your fingerprints.

Really? smile.gif But how come when I looked at the screen I'd see "passed" and then "matched" in the lower and right screen? I'm not actually worried but I'm just concern that if my 3 fingers have a matched to terrorists, it might take longer before I get my approval. I'm sure even if they investigate, they will find nothing for I am a lawful abiding resident and never had a ticket ever in my life. I just want it to be processed short.... I wanna be able to see my aging mom back home and celebrate her birthday beside her.

Hey you know what, you did console me a little bit ~ smile.gif Thank's!!!!

But what about my father's name.... I used his nickname instead of his real name. Is that gonna affect my application?

Doesn't matter, you're the one applying for citizenship, not your dad. Good luck!
