Hi to all,
Ok, so I am kind of procrasitating as is my natural tendency to do. I have not reflied my immigration papers yet (k-1 was denied 2 and a half years ago) and I am living in Mexico. I was planning to DCF in Mexico City, but my my procrastination has come back to bite me. With the new law (Addam Walsh Act) it seems like I can no longer DCF in Mexico City. Does anyone know if Mexico is also under this law? I was looking at the US embassy page for Mexico City, but I can't tell if it is a USCIS office or not.

Thanks for any help.

There never really was DCF available in Mexico City. They did process I-130s and they may still do it, but then everything goes to CDJ and interviews, etc. are handled there like normal, with the same 12 month wait for an interview.

Thanks for the tip. I did know that we would eventually be going to Juarez. It's just that I don't want to have to send everything to the US and then have it come back to Mexico. It's just so much closer to file in Mexico City...

I am planning to go to the Embassy this week anyways, so I guess I will find out. I was just hoping to be SURE before I go...

Thanks!
Cindy
